[edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 13:24, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Mo Foster and other notability challenges

Our definition of notability is Wikipedia:Notability, basically "significant coverage in reliable secondary sources that are independent of the subject." Mo Foster shows non-trivial articles in Bassist & Bass Techniques magazine, Guitarist magazine, Sound International magazine, Bassist Magazine, Bassics magazine. He's also written a published book that's been reprinted in the US. He's published multiple albums on professional labels. He's worked on the music for numerous movies and television shows. He's not Eric Clapton, but he is clearly a notable musician. I think you've added similar tags to other articles, if they're all like this, they also aren't justified. Please don't take the fact that you don't like the guy who's writing the article out on the article. --AnonEMouse (squeak) 14:13, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

I made a response to this on your talk page. Why is it if you delete or try to amend flawed material in an administrators site it is called vandalism, bad-faith or whatever tag you wish to put on it - yet when an administrator deletes entire blocks of content with no explanation other than 'wp is not a phone directory' that is acceptable to which any discussion is shouted down with weird insults at a students union?

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. IrishGuy talk 20:43, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "i aksed a qeustion on a discussion page talk:mo_foster mo fosterabout why another users exposure of false attribution was deleted. For that qeustion i was blocked!!!!?"

Decline reason: "This is not a question, it's a troll. — Yamla 21:37, 2 November 2007 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

No, you were blocked because all you have done is make WP:POINT edits and troll talk pages. Stop. IrishGuy talk 21:24, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

you deleted a point made by another user who evidently could prove webhamster was lying and the whole article was falsly referenced -since when has asking a legitimate qeustion been trolling.

No, I reverted your trolling. And you didn't ask a question, you made personal attacks. IrishGuy talk 21:33, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

why do you think i added "Prevented from adding or expanding my comment" - it was because i was cut off halfway through making that comment - check the server logs if you do not believe me! if anyone had seen the remainder of my comment it would have made more sense and not been construed as trolling.
