I have this IP number 217.30.96.127 and someone (or more than one 'person') is destroying all my serious contributions and is adding all this filth such as pornstars, Knights?, localities in Malta, politicians, etc. My reputation is down the drain... can someone at Wikipedia allow me access and eliminate the other/s who are using my IP number??
I won't log in for fear of having my username abused which will be worse. At least - for the time being - I have some degree of anonymity, though I hate this status quo. 23 August 2006, 01:07
- IP are not generally private. I think other user of your internet provider some time will have your IP, and WP should not discriminate other persons that your this IP. I don't understand why you don't register. Your privacy will be safer (nobody will see your email), and user will not see what IP and provider you use. Ip give already to much informations. (But you should trust wikipedia, because WP will have IP, user name and ev. your email). Cate 09:36, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
- I concur. How will your username be abused? Keep your password private and logout if you leave a public terminal. 「ѕʀʟ·✎」 05:20, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Welsh language. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Thank you. Gwernol 12:22, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Swedish language. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Gwernol 12:22, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Breton language, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing anyone from linking to them from any site that uses the MediaWiki spam blacklist, which includes all of Wikimedia and Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles, as you did with Fakawi. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please do the following:
- Place {{hangon}} on the page. Please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag(s).
- Make your case on the article's talk page.
Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. --NMChico24 08:48, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
Hi. This is intended as a friendly message. Wikipedia user 217.30.96.127 has vandalised many articles on Wikipedia. A tracer shows that the user is resident in the region of Quormi, Malta.
Here in Australia where I live we have many fine citizens who have emigrated from Malta. Do you realize that when you vandalise an article you are also vandalising the good reputation of our citizens who have come from Malta ? Please stop.
If the IP address has been reassigned, and you are not the person who contributed the vandalism, please ignore this message. Geoffrey Wickham 04:41, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
