[edit] Regarding edits made during November 5, 2006 (UTC) to V for Vendetta (film)

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. If this is an IP address, and it is shared by multiple users, ignore this warning if you did not make any unconstructive edits. Asteriontalk 20:31, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

FUCK! COULD YOU PLEASE AT LEAST HAVE A LOOK AT MY CHANGES BEFORE YOUR VANDALISM TRIGGER SETS IN? AGAIN, HAVE A LOOK AT THE CHANGES! AGAIN, HAVE A LOOK AT THE CHANGES!

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to V for Vendetta (film). It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. --Wafulz 20:42, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to V for Vendetta (film), you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. .V. 20:52, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] "Botched rvv"

Please be civil and stop accusing us of botched reverts. We're fixing your edits because you seem to have a mostly effective edits with some vandalism somewhere in it. Also, try to tone down your edit summaries- considering you've (accidentally) included vandalism in half of your edits, yelling at us for "botching" them isn't quite polite. Anyway, some things in your edits that triggered reverts:

  • In this diff you removed sourced content and added vandalism.
  • Here you again removed sourced material.
  • You did it again in this edit

Just try to be more careful when removing vandalism from here on- this way your edits won't be seen as vandalism. Oh, and don't curse in bold on your talk page, it's not helping anything and not making your point any clearer. --Wafulz 21:08, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

Sorry, you all are behaving rude, make hasty reverts, do not AGF, and prevent the fixes I had planned all the time. This can be called "botching" in my book.
I also cannot see where you fixed anything. Wafulz confirms that my edits are mostly useful, and yet you revert them? Please explain.
You may think it is funny to add sentences like "edward battye rules!!!!!!!!!!!!" but I don't. Either you stop or you will be blocked without any further warning. Asteriontalk 21:09, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
Looks like someone removed that sentence. Oh gosh, that was me!!
The point is you added it on two occasions, which is rightfully suspicious considering you labelled the edits as fixing vandalism or botched rvv. --Wafulz 21:32, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
The point is that you did not AGF, and it should have been clear by my edits that I wanted to improve the article. From my pov I couldn't see anything but IP-racism and overactivity from either of you.
I have done nothing but assume good faith. You almost got blocked. However accidental, two of your edits did contain vandalism, and you also reorganized a chunk of prose into a list- doing either one of these in a Featured Article will likely lead to a revert. I think you should just calm down for five minutes and let a few things settle- you've made a lot of hasty edits on several pages, including the village pump and on other talk pages. Try to keep conflicts to one page, and don't constantly change what's in your talk apge- this will help avoid confusion. --Wafulz 21:43, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for your vote, I appreciate it.
I think I know the problem, however, I don't see that content should be thrown out with edits like this (comment: "rv to last unvadalized version I could find") only because some editor is sloppy. So I worked on fixing it.
We should discuss about the list on V's /Talk. One list is already discussed there.
My edits on the Village Pump were not hasty. I learned the hard way that IPs are only taken seriously if they use the instruments that Wikipedia has to offer.
This is my talk page. I don't remove the fancy warnings, but I don't have to cope with stuff copied from another page.

[edit] Civility

Some of your comments on this page and in edit summaries appear to be incivil. You may want to review WP:CIVIL, WP:NPA, and WP:3RR. Thanks. --Ginkgo100 talk · e@ 21:12, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, this is my /Talk page, so cope.

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. . Asteriontalk 21:54, 5 November 2006 (UTC) PS: I would appreciate if you stop adding nonsense to my talk page and making feeble accusations. You will not get very far behaving like that. Asteriontalk 21:56, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

So I will not be elected President of Wikipedia? --217.235.243.238
Do whatever you want, Edward. You will get blocked if you carry on like that. Asteriontalk 22:03, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to make personal attacks on other people, you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Thank you. . Asteriontalk 22:04, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
I don't make personal attacks. Please don't add any more warnings without evidence. --217.235.243.238
I'm not Edward. --217.235.243.238
I have made a complain about your recent uncivil behaviour. Please refrain of making unfounded accusations to make a point. You insist that you have not engaged on any vandalism but the links provided above indicate otherwise. Your recent edits seem to be more helpful and I would welcome a change of direction indeed. Feel free to open an account and become a bona-fide wikipedian. There is a whole encyclopedia to write. Good night, Asteriontalk 22:22, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
Please point out my recent uncivil behaviour. In general, please don't make any further statements about me without supporting evidence. (I, on the other hand, added the supporting evidence right where I made my "accusations".)
The links have been explained.
Don't mother me. I tried to be constructive from the start, you are the one that prevented me to work. Initially that was an overabundance of editor hormones, but you had ample opportunity to learn better; yet you still harass me with childish warnings.

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. Unconstructive edits include rude personal attacks and posts. You will be blocked or banned without any further warning. Please refrain from being a dick. Cbrown1023
