This IP address, 217.171.129.75, is registered to Three, and may be shared by multiple users. If the organization uses proxy servers or firewalls, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason, a message intended for one person may be received by another and a block may be shared by many. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases, you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism; if so, please see here.

If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user. Alternatively, you can list the IP at Wikipedia:WikiProject on XFFs.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and the articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to BBC 6 Music. Readers looking for serious articles will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you can write (almost) whatever you want. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Daniel Craig. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. fschoenm (talk) 21:18, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi, the recent edit you made to Leslie Phillips has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. This IP address is a public IP which seems to be a proxy of UK ISP three.co.uk. Wiki admins - please be aware that this address is therefore shared by many users. 217.171.129.75 (talk) 23:11, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

True — I'm another user on this IP; perhaps if further vandalism occurs from this IP, the relevant logs (if available) could be forwarded to Three, with a view to getting the adolescent idiot banned from that network and thus making things better for the rest of us. 217.171.129.73 (talk) 09:12, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Get-rich-quick scheme, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing their websites from appearing on Wikipedia. Gwernol 12:14, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Bluestar (bus company)

I have reverted your edits to the above article. I feel that, as with all bus companies, some service changes are bound to be controversial, and therefore individual cases aren't notable on Wikipedia. I also feel the text should some opinion, when Wikipedia articles are meant to be from a neutral point of view.

I think that, if cut down, changed to be from a NPOV and given properly formatted references (the current ones were bare links), the text may have a place, but in its current form it does not. I hope you can see why I have doen this. Arriva436talk 15:20, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
