[edit] Welcome!

Hi, 216.54.92.149, Welcome to Wikipedia!

Welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you enjoy the encyclopaedia and want to stay. Before getting too in-depth, you may want to read about the simplified ruleset. If you need help on how to title new articles check out the naming conventions, and for help on formatting the pages visit the manual of style. If you need help look at Wikipedia:Help and the FAQ; plus, if you can't find your answer there, check the Village Pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions). There's still more help at the Tutorial and Policy Library. Also, don't forget to visit the Community Portal. And if you have any more questions after that, feel free to post them on my user talk page.

Also, thanks for the contribution to the USS Scorpion (SSN-589) article -- I hope you'll add more submarine stuff.

Having said that, can you add some references for that material? See the very short "Guidelines for writing high quality articles" section of the simplified ruleset for a quick sense of what we're looking for (the links there will take you to more detail if needed.)

Thanks -- and again, welcome!

[edit] May 2008

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to USS New Mexico (SSN-779), did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. ~ WikiDon (talk) 21:06, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Seal (mechanical) has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks.
