[edit] Please don't be silly
Please don't monkey about with joke edits, such as your edit to Zambia. We try hard here to produce something we can all be proud of, and silliness doesn't help. Articles are monitored, and users messing around could be blocked. Why not try and contribute something useful instead? Have a look at the below and get stuck in properly:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages

- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
- Fun stuff...
Thanks - and enjoy yourself as a responsible Wikipedian!
[edit] February 2008
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Ted Turner. Your edits have been automatically marked as unconstructive/possible vandalism and have been automatically reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you believe there has been a mistake and would like to report a false positive, please report it here and then remove this warning from your talk page. If your edit was not vandalism, please feel free to make your edit again after reporting it. The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Ted Turner was changed by 216.229.227.144 (u) (t) making a minor change with obscenities on 2008-02-05T21:41:34+00:00 . Thank you. Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to William Peters (painter). If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. ScarianCall me Pat 21:55, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to User talk:Scarian. ScarianCall me Pat 21:56, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
Your recent edit to North Korea (diff) was reverted by an automated bot. The edit was identified as adding vandalism, or link spam to the page or having an inappropriate edit summary. If you want to experiment, please use the preview button while editing or consider using the sandbox. If this revert was in error, please contact the bot operator. If you made an edit that removed a large amount of content, try doing smaller edits instead. Thanks! // VoABot II (talk) 22:00, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our policies concerning neutral point of view and biographies of living persons will not be tolerated. This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
