[edit] Note to instructors at Merrimack Education Center
It seems that those using this IP are frequently vandalizing Wikipedia, with very few choosing to make constructive edits. This IP might be blocked from editing for extended periods due to the negative actions of a few. I will be happy to unblock this IP upon request from any teacher or administrator from the Merrimack Education Center. I will require verification of identity, which can be as simple as e-mailing me and letting me know which address listed on the Center's contact page I can use to correspond directly with you. I usually only check e-mail once a day, so please be patient. If you require a faster response, feel free to contact any administrator. Thank you. SWAdair | Talk 07:51, 29 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Please don't add nonsense to articles. We count it as vandalism and you could be blocked from editing if you continue. Secretlondon 18:31, Dec 1, 2003 (UTC)
The above is still valid - stop adding nonsense. andy 13:16, 23 Jan 2004 (UTC)
If you continue to create nonsense edits you will be blocked from editing in Wikipedia. - Tεxτurε 19:11, 4 May 2004 (UTC)
Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been removed or reverted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. -- Infrogmation 21:16, 15 Dec 2004 (UTC)
This is a hardcore vandal, consistently at work over the past year. All edits back to 4 May 2004 have been reverted by responsible Wikipedians. Furtive vandalism pre May 2004 may remain uncorrected (See User contributions). This vandal should be blocked, as a courtesy to hardworking Wikipedia editors. --Wetman 22:06, 8 Feb 2005 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

Thanks for your edit to Leet. Your translation edit is not original, and has been tried here before. This is English Wikipedia and we have a convention that articles are in English. However, thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you wat to do, or look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. --RobertG ♬ talk 16:29, 5 October 2005 (UTC)

Alright, regarding the Jack London article, cut it out now. Sjakkalle (Check!) 13:46, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. No Guru 18:57, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Ferraz Shawmut, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. cholmes75 (chit chat) 13:47, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
