[edit] Welcome!

Hi, "anonymous" user!

Welcome to the Wikipedia! May I suggest you sign in as a user - very simple, there's a "log in" link in the upper right corner of all Wiki pages.

I hope you don't mind, but I removed the long "How-to" section by you on the Soldering page, since it was very long, and concerned mostly/only with pipe soldering.

If you wish to write a how-to (a very good thing in itself!), I suggest that it should be in a separate Wikipedia:How-to article, or even a Wikibook. --Janke | Talk 10:09, 15 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Howard Stern

Hey, sorry if what I reverted was true, but I shouldn't have tagged it vandalism. I did quite a bit of searching (on news links and on Technorati) for the instance, because I figured someone would have blogged it if it did occur, and didn't find anything. My mistake would be tagging it as vandalism. So, sorry about that, should have been tagged unsubstantiated.

[edit] CRTC and Canadian content, etc.

Wikipedia is not a place where you have the right to insert your own personal opinion into an article. A Wikipedia article must maintain a neutral point of view. We can discuss the pros and cons of Canadian content, but we cannot simply assert that a policy is so inherently wrongheaded that anybody with a double-digit IQ would see its obvious worthlessness. And anyway, how is it, exactly, that Canadian content has everything to do with The Tragically Hip (yeah, they're crap, but they're not any worse than the vast majority of American mainstream rock bands) and nothing to do with The Arcade Fire (who even a lot of Americans seem to think are close to being the best band operating on the planet right now)? [edit] Vibrators

There is some discussion about your contributions about vibrators at User talk:Atlant#Historical electronics stubs. --C J Cowie 16:06, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

I edited your material and restored it to the Vibrator article. --C J Cowie 18:47, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
