[edit] V for Vendetta
I reverted your last addition. We have two positive and two negative reviews ending with a mixed. Adding any more makes the section bloated and we need to remain neutral by including equal amounts (although the fact that there are more positives means we would be fine with having more positive examples, but that is unnecessary). Please feel free to continue editting, I just wanted to inform you of the reason for the revert. Konman72 20:57, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
- I have reverted another of your additions. Please stop adding negative reviews. We have equal numbers positive and negative, let's leave it at that. If you would like to substitute one review for another then feel free, but additions only serve to unbalance the section and make it overlarge. Konman72
- Aesthetics are quite important on Wikpedia, especially since V is a featured article. As for the last review, I was incorrect :-P. I read it after making that message and saw my mistake. However, it doesn't change anything. There are far more positive reviews than there are negatives, thus we are prudent to include more positive examples. As I said feel free to change what negative reviews are there but adding any is a bad idea. Konman72 21:09, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Comment on my talk page
Did you have a point with that edit? What are you attempting to assert? JoshuaZ 22:52, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
- I'm aware of what happened. I was in fact just noting that on the user's talk page. Given the high probability that the user was merely removing edits by Greier socks I'm inclined not to block. JoshuaZ 22:56, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Regarding edits made during November 29, 2006 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. If this is an IP address, and it is shared by multiple users, ignore this warning if you did not make any unconstructive edits. Bushcarrot 22:57, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Pls unblock
[edit] Shared IP
It should be noted that this IP is given out by the Etisalat telecommunications company in the UAE. For reasons unbeknownst to myself, multiple people share this IP address (I have no experience with networking so I can't really go into any more detail) so by blocking this IP, you are cutting off many more users than you think. It's really your decision if you want to unblock this IP, I'm not particularly bothered, however I felt it important that this be brought to light.
Etisalat uses a proxy system to monitor and control its users internet activities. We have shared IP addresses to make it easier for them to monitor. So by blocking one user/IP, you may inadvertently block more. Hope this gives a little insight.
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
