Attention:

This IP address, 213.42.2.27, is registered to Emirates Internet, and may be shared by multiple users. If the organization uses proxy servers or firewalls, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason, a message intended for one person may be received by another and a block may be shared by many. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases, you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism; if so, please see here.

If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user. Alternatively, you can list the IP at Wikipedia:WikiProject on XFFs.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of vandalism from this address, abuse reports may be sent to your network administrator for further investigation.
IT staff who want to monitor vandalism from this IP address can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format.

[edit] Dubai edits

Hello there!

Thank you for your contributions to the Dubai article, and specifically to the information you provided regarding DIFX. Unfortunately, I have had to reverse your edits because the information added wasn't appropriately cited. I gather from your edit summary that you may have obtained some of this information from difx.ae and other sources. As a contributor, the onus is on you to clearly cite information (using any of the inline citation formats such as <ref></ref>) that you're adding to the article.

I appears that you are quite knowledgeable on the state of Dubai's stock exchange markets. I encourage you to therefore add content to improve that section of the article by citing appropriate sources. If you'd like more information on how to cite sources, please feel free to reach out to me and I'll be glad to assist. Thanks AreJay 13:39, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

Thanks. I see your point. I will go ahead and update that section and see if I can find a bunch of references to substantiate the content that I'm about to add. I've spent the last week trying to dig up information on Dubai and all I keep running into are travel websites with bloated text and images of skyscrapers. I'd definately appreciate it if you stop by again during the week to see if the information I've added makes sense! Thanks again AreJay 20:20, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image talk:Elissa-backstage.jpg

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image talk:Elissa-backstage.jpg, by Mindys12345, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image talk:Elissa-backstage.jpg fits the criteria for speedy deletion for the following reason:

Looks like spam or some kind of advertising

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Image talk:Elissa-backstage.jpg, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image talk:Elissa-backstage.jpg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 08:14, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Emirates Airline

The images are in a gallery (So they can still be seen) as there are far too many and they serve no purpose but decoration. Moving them allows the fleet boxes to be larger and easier to read. Also when you left the page like this, scroll to the bottom and look at the way the references/services section looks, has multiple errors. Are you telling me that the airline bought passenger aircraft from No. 32 (The Royal) Squadron RAF, because that is what you are linking to? Other links go to disambiguation pages, month/year dates are not linked (only day/month/year). Make edits but don't blindly revert. Pay attention to what you are doing also add sources for you edits or they will be removed. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 09:03, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your edits to May 18

Dear 213.42.2.27,
Some of your edits on the page May 18 have been undone by PseudoBot, a robot built to keep the date pages tidy. The problems are:

The person you added doesn't seem to have a Wikipedia page.

If the page exists, check that you've spelled and capitalized the name the same way as the article, and try again. If it doesn't yet exist, read this page carefully before creating it. In particular, you shouldn't create a page about yourself or anyone you know personally. If this bot has got it wrong (as can unfortunately happen), please accept its author's apologies, and (if you would like) leave a message on this talk page with the details, so it can be improved. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page R. Pudupatti do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.

The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: 'groups\.yahoo\.com' . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thorougly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creators copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).

Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! XLinkBot (talk) 03:53, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
