[edit] Welcome
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
Here are some other hints and tips:
- I would recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
- When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.
If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my Talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will answer your questions as far as I can. Again, welcome!
Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. Brian | (Talk) 18:26, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Helton's cap
Hi, I'm sorry that I'm reverting your edit of Helton's international caps. I know many people think that he has two caps, one against Kuwait and one against Switzerland. However, the match against Kuwait is not an official friendly match (Brazil does not play against the Kuwait national team, instead they play a best selection of a Kuwait club, Al-Kuwait SC), therefore, FIFA consider this match as non-official match, the caps would not been counted. I already put this information on Helton's profile page just to make it clear. For more information please see the talk page and the following page for reference, Brazil's list of official matches and Brazil's list of non-official matches. -- Martin tamb 01:46, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia because of disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism, including page blanking or addition of random text, spam, or deliberate misinformation; privacy violations; personal attacks; and repeated and blatant violations of WP:NPOV will not be tolerated. Please note in particular that you must not change footballers' scores without explaining, on the talk page or in the edit summary, where you got the information from, and you must not change them one goal at a time. Hi. Your edits have been reverted because Wikipedia is not censored for minors. If you still believe the material should be removed, censored, or disclaimed, please discuss it in the article's discussion page first. Any further changes to the article in this manner will be regarded as vandalism unless we can reach an agreement at the discussion page first. You may be blocked from editing Wikipedia if you continue to ignore these warnings. You are encouraged to continue contributing to Wikipedia in a helpful manner, but please keep this in mind. Thank you. Carlosguitar 01:25, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
