[edit] Thanks for the info

Can you double check Feels So Good and Cradle, because now Feels So Good sounds like too much and Cradle seems too much as well. KittenKlub 13:43, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] I checked those European charts for Whole Again

It did not chart for many weeks in Europe. NL was one week ( http://www.top4000.nl/page/hitlijsten/2001/24/ ) Switzerland and Austria peaked at 2 and only Germany was 6 weeks. KittenKlub 11:00, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

Since I was sceptical about the Japanse Cradle. There is no listing of Cradle on the Japanese Top 10 ( http://www.sound.jp/tnsn/az/tokio-bpm_f.html ) KittenKlub 11:19, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] There is no proof that Cradle went to #1 in Japan

It is a statement made on a news site, but the official Japanese chart (see URL above) does not list it nor does it appear in 2001. I checked every month and there is no listing of it and I'm more inclined to believe the official chart then a news site. And 1,800,000 sold seems highly unlikely. The same with the 2,000,000 for the US album. If it charted for 5 weeks on #1 in Japan it would be listed on the official chart. It contains no listing whatsoever in 2001 nor is there any other mentioning on the web except that newssite and a fan comment on amazon.

Let me put it like this. It could have charted locally in Japan, since Japan does not have a national chart, however the Tokio Hot 100 is the chart used as the "Japan" chart and it contains no entry nor any entry in the Top 10 either nor does Andy mention it on his official OMD site (and he bragged about every single thing). It doesn't mean that it was no hit, but it can't have been a major hit.

And I'm seriously doubting that 2,000,000 figure as well since there is no proof of that to be found. And there is even a story that the girls were send to the US since the album never charted. That makes the whole figure unreliable since it can never go so high without making the Top 100 at least once and it is not on the Billboard.

The figures are very good, but don't make up stories because that means that people are getting sceptical about figures which are accurate. KittenKlub 21:42, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

And I've checked all the other items as well and the Australian charts were even slightly higher according to the figures by ARIA. It was a lot of work checking every week. KittenKlub 21:43, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] About the UK chart

The only one I know with a backlog is everyhit.com and indeed it doesn't show the day, but the BBC doesn't keep archives. There are local charts and unofficial charts. There is http://www.lanet.lv/misc/charts/ which contains links to all charts over the world and has a hit search, but the hit search often doesn't produce the result you want, so it still takes a lot of searching. [edit] Are you making up figures again?

Cradle can't rise, because it has been out of production for a long time now and the so-called "sales" figures are usually shipment figures. Changes revert as unreliable. You have been putting in too many false figures and also at other artists. KittenKlub 09:29, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
