I see you have been experimenting with Wikipedia. Your change was determined to be unhelpful, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any tests you want to do. Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. Gwernol 16:06, 23 March 2006 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked from editing for vandalism of Wikipedia. Please note that page blanking, addition of random text or spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, and repeated and blatant violation of WP:NPOV are considered vandalism. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may come back after the block expires. Gator (talk) 16:55, 23 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Mistaken block

It seems that a mistake has occured and I (or more correctly a lot of people) have been mistakenly blocked. This may be because this IP address is actually a shared address at a student residence. I would appreciate if this block could be removed as a lot of innocent people have been blocked as a result of this.

To request to be unblocked you can add {{unblock}} to the top of this page. --TheKoG (talk|contribs) 20:00, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
To clarify the situation, please elaborate the school/university/company this IP is shared among. Thanks. --ZsinjTalk 20:31, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Shared IP?

Okay, if this is a shared IP, how many people is it shared with? Can you get ahold of the other people sharing it and tell them to knock off the vandalism? --Cyde Weys 20:32, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] illegitimate Block

This block is the result of a totalitarian move by over-zealous administrators. The changes made to the article that instigated this dictarorial block cannot be classified as vandalism, but are instead matters of debatable content. In the name of fairness and in the spirit of Wikipedia, this block should be lifted immediately, and the nature in which blocks are administered revised.

Please understand that massive, repeated POV pushing is treated as vandalism. To understand the problem, please see WP:NPOV. JoshuaZ 21:30, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] POV

The changes made did not violate any NPOV rules. A block put in place yesterday was legitimate because changes made did constitute vandalism and POV pushing. The block initiated today, however, is not justified because the changes made do not qualify as "persistent vandalism". Please reverse the block and allow innocent people to contribute and change Wikipedia for the better.

I see, so this edit [1] wouldn't be an example of more POV pushing? JoshuaZ 21:49, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

No, is not an example of POV pushing. Some critics do feel that and some people don't feel that his videos feature "symbolism and dark imagery". If anything, the introduction of "appararently" furthers NPOV, why should thoses who feel his videos do include "symbolism and dark imagery" be the only ones whose views are represented (because that in itself is just another POV)

Hmm, I've notified an admin who will look into it. JoshuaZ 22:03, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
Regardless of POV or NPOV, your edits were a violation of the three revert rule. Please try engaging the other editors of James Blunt in a discussion to reach on concensus on the article to avoid the revert problems. Its always more productive to work with other editors instead of against them. Happy Editing! .:.Jareth.:. babelfish 22:07, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Shared IP

I am someone who has been affected by this block as a result of the IP sharing. This IP is from a University Halls of residence located at The University Of Sheffield, England. I urge you to reverse this block as I'm sure that future vandalism will stop.

[edit] Bluntbashing

At last we can resume the bluntbashing! At last the middle-class administrators have seen sense and reverted their mistake!!!!

Please stop adding nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. JoshuaZ 21:44, 26 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your edits to Lighthouses and lightvessels in the Netherlands

Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Lighthouses and lightvessels in the Netherlands. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Fang Aili 說嗎? 21:51, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

You have recently vandalized the Wikipedia article Conceptual graph among others, and you are now being asked to stop this type of behavior. You're welcome to continue editing Wikipedia, so long as these edits are constructive. Please see Wikipedia's Blocking policy and what constitutes vandalism; such actions are not tolerated on Wikipedia, and are not taken lightly.

We hope that you will become a legitimate editor and create an account. Again, you are welcome here at Wikipedia, but remember not to vandalize or you will soon be blocked from editing.

If you feel you have received this message in error, it may be because you are using a shared IP address. Nevertheless, repeated vandalism from this address may cause you to be included in any future punishments such as temporary blocks or bans. To avoid confusion in the future, we invite you to create a user account of your own.
