More vandelism on July 15th 2005. i don't see why blocking these IP's is such a problem. Think of the man hours wasted. The least we can do is make it harder for the user to get into wikipedia. David D. 20:06, 15 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Equinox IP

By the way this vandel is using at least four different IP numbers

212.85.15.83 212.85.15.77 212.85.15.87 212.85.15.69

All are assigned to the same company in Farnborough UK. They have the following range 212.85.15.0 - 212.85.15.255

I think we should just block all those IP numbers. How many people at that company are going to be doing productive wikipedia entries when they are on work time?

  • Please stop removing content from Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you want to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --Woggly 12:03, 19 October 2005 (UTC)

On second though, now that I've looked over your recent "contributions" after being blocked merely two weeks ago for 48 hours, I think you've received sufficient warning. I've gone ahead and blocked you from editing for a month. --Woggly 12:21, 19 October 2005 (UTC)

NOTE: This IP address range belongs to a school proxy company. Anyone at the schools using this proxy will be reading wikipedia through it. Unfortunately, the few vandals are removing the ability for actual contributers to edit or create articles. (preceding unsigned comment by 212.85.15.67 (talk • contribs) 9 November 2005)

Why am i getting sent Vandilism when this is my first time on this web site

This is a shared IP address, that is, more than one user edits from this IP address. Many of the editors in the past have been vandals and thus have been warned. Don't take it personally! Rx StrangeLove 14:53, 10 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Info on this ISP

This ISP is shared by hundreds of schools across London; thousands of people are accessing Wikipedia through Equinox's ISP. They provide internet connections for schools, so unfortunately the vandalism from this address is probably one person out of thousands of people who access Wikipedia from this ISP.

You have recently vandalized a Wikipedia article, and you are now being asked to stop this type of behavior. You're welcome to continue editing Wikipedia, so long as these edits are constructive. Please see Wikipedia's Blocking policy and what constitutes vandalism; such actions are not tolerated on Wikipedia, and are not taken lightly.

We hope that you will become a legitimate editor and create an account. Again, you are welcome here at Wikipedia, but remember not to vandalize or you will soon be blocked from editing.

If you feel you have received this message in error, it may be because you are using a shared IP address. Nevertheless, repeated vandalism from this address may cause you to be included in any future punishments such as temporary blocks or bans. To avoid confusion in the future, we invite you to create a user account of your own.
