Ok fair enough. You can remove it again if you wish, but please leave a note on the talk page telling everyone why you are removing a large chunk of the article and a note in the edit summary saying the same thing (not too long). ViridaeTalk 03:25, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
- Ahh I didnt see that. Sorry - go ahead and remove. But make sure you say why in the edit summary otherwise it looks like vandalism. (A talk page is the same as a discussion page) ViridaeTalk 03:29, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. ViridaeTalk 03:31, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
