Continuing this may lead to being blocked from editing. Pakaran. 20:26, 6 Feb 2004 (UTC)
Please stop creating nonsense articles, or add nonsense to existing articles. Both is vandalism and will result in getting you vlocked from editing. andy 16:04, 16 Mar 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Unblock
This is a copy of an email I received from a user of this IP.
- I am a student from Carmel Valley Middle School, San Diego, USA. Recently, our mainframe IP(209.66.192.137)Address has been blocked due to severe vandalism, which I examined after attempting to edit a page but instead being blocked. The network consists of around 60 computer total or more, but is streamlined through one IP address as all of our webpages go through a filter and past an administrator. It is obvious that this vandal needs to be stopped, all of his comments are disgusting and are a black mark on the use of our school network. Since all of the attacks are coming from an anonymous user, could you attempt to change the block status so that users such as myself may be able to edit Wikipedia? Thank you for your time, and I hope this vandal can be caught soon.
Thanks for your email. I understand your predicament. Unfortunately, as far as I know, we are not in a position to separate different users using the same IP. Given the amount of vandalism coming from your school network I don't think we're going to unblock the ID any time soon. Sorry, but we have to protect ourselves.
You might like to investigate solutions at your end. Can your administrator block packets going to Wikipedia, apart from those from known users? If you come up with a solution like this and let us know, we can probably do something. Alternatively you could try studying collaborative authoring in a class, look at the dangers and benefits, and maybe educate the vandals so they don't do it again. Let us know if you think the problem has gone away at your end. DJ Clayworth 01:23, 17 Feb 2005 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
