From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Attention:

This IP address, 209.43.19.188, is registered to WFBQ-FM, 6161 Fall Creek Road Indianapolis, IN 46220, and may be shared by multiple users. If the organization uses proxy servers or firewalls, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason, a message intended for one person may be received by another and a block may be shared by many. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases, you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism; if so, please see here.

If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user. Alternatively, you can list the IP at Wikipedia:WikiProject on XFFs.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of vandalism from this address, abuse reports may be sent to your network administrator for further investigation.
IT staff who want to monitor vandalism from this IP address can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format.

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 01:38, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

As a reminder, talk pages related with IP addresses have certain restrictions in place. One of them is that warnings should not be removed from the page. Administrators may archive the warnings periodically, but the sequence of recent warnings should be left in place on the page.
By contrast, one of the privileges of registered users is more freedom in removing warnings from their talk page. (Removal is considered de facto acknowledgment of the warning.) —C.Fred (talk) 01:40, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked

You have been temporarily blocked from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.
Note: IP addresses do not have the same rights to control their own userspace as do registerred users. Since only registerred users can be shown to be a single user, only they may blank and otherwise control their own talk pages. If you would like a talk page and userspace you can control, then create an account when the block expires. --Jayron32.talk.contribs 01:42, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Unprotect

I am about to unprotect this talk page per diff so that the IP editor can communicate here. I would request that that IP not blank or remove the content from this talk page until there is clarity, about what appears to be questionable behavior. I beleive both the IP and Momusufan believed there actions were correct so no blame falls on either. If this page is blanked or content is removed prior to a clear consensus the page protection my replaced by any admin as they beleive is appropriate. Jeepday (talk) 02:48, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Unblock

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "The admin who blocked me did not use Good Faith. I thought I had control over my talk page, and had no malice behind revert the edits to it."

Decline reason: "You also uncivilly proceeded to make several retaliatory/trolling edits ([1], [2], [3]); before that, you vandalized. In my opinion, there is not sufficient evidence to support unblocking at this time. — slakrtalk / 13:16, 9 March 2008 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

  • I would support unblocking this user, I beleive the edit history supports the unblock request. There is no clear policy. As I have been moderately involved I don't think I should unblock the user, but would support the unblock. Jeepday (talk) 03:24, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
    • So what about the guy who kept editing my talk page? I guess nothing happens to him, even though he was just as uncivil?
