Welcome to Wikipedia. Although we invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Cerne Abbas giant, was not constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. [edit] WP:BLP

Please note we do not post links to personal information such as an individual's address. Also material should normally have been published in a secondary source before it is cited. Tyrenius (talk) 00:13, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

I did no such thing.209.30.19.80 (talk) 22:54, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

You linked to a page which contained a private address and phone number. I accept this was inadvertent. I am not specifying it here, because that would repeat the error. You are welcome to email me by going to this page. Tyrenius (talk) 01:58, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Removal of text from Mark Vallen

You removed a substantial amount of text and also a reference link.[1] The information was on the web page cited, but has since been taken off that web page. See Wikipedia:Cite#What to do when a reference link_"goes_dead" The optimum course is to find another source with the same information (which as it turns out is available and now cited). Failing that, the link should not be removed, as it can be used at a later date for the web archive, which is deliberately 6 months or so in arrears in its archiving. Please discuss such things on the article talk page, rather than just deleting material. Tyrenius (talk) 01:57, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
