In extreme cases, an entire network may be blocked to prevent an abusive user from continually changing their IP address in order to evade blocks or abusing multiple accounts. If you are a registered user and are seeing this message, please follow these instructions. Administrators: CheckUsers are privy to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy, and therefore must be consulted before this block can be removed. |

[edit] Regarding edits made during November 27, 2006
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. If this is an IP address, and it is shared by multiple users, ignore this warning if you did not make any unconstructive edits. Aksi_great (talk) 16:04, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Eddie Fatu, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- Chrissperanza! chat edits 16:13, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Blocked
You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia because of disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism, including page blanking or addition of random text, spam, or deliberate misinformation; privacy violations; personal attacks; and repeated and blatant violations of WP:NPOV will not be tolerated. [edit] December 2006
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to Gorilla, are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. -- tariqabjotu 19:23, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
what happened?
What do you mean by checkuser. I just learned about this site a few days ago and wanted to check it out and it is blocked. Can you explain a few things to me
What is a sockpuppet How long is this block going to last How bad was the vandalism to get the whole thing blocked Why was the whole IP address blocked How can I create an account to avoid this, It keeps saying I can't but someone told me that your account is not affected by your IP address. Apparently that is not true. How long has the vandalism been going on. I heard this address got blocked numerous times in the past three months. Who keeps doing it and how were they able to do it again. Why can't you just block him Aren't you able to protect pages. Why not just do that. They can't do this when it is protected. How do I get around this block
If you can explain these things to me I would greatly appreciate it.
[edit] How do I use another IP address
This one got blocked because of vandals. Sometimes when I turn on Online I get a different one but i keep getting this one over and over again. Stupid vandals
I will ask the blocking admin. It would help if you can let us know what other IPs and user accounts you have used. —Wknight94 (talk) 15:35, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, this is a checkuser block that I unblocked (per decree by Jimbo Wales) but then restored after checkusers confirmed vandalism was still active from this IP. It should stay blocked according to the suggestion of checkusers. Metros 19:39, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
So you permanently block an IP address just to stop a vandal, who, as I check his talk page on one of his sockpuppets, is currently just using other IP addresses? Oh that is fair.
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
