[edit] == Gupta Blanking

I for one, agre with the changes that were made to the Gupta bio. I think the length and tone of the language of the Moore controversy page is ridiculous. I am not sure who Ripe is, but I am starting to get an uneasy feeling about how wikipedia is being used. It seems like it is serving Ripe's political agenda. Also, little changes like Chief medical correspondent. Why did Ripe change this back to Senior medical correspondent? He is Chief, so Ripe has made this entry inaccurate to addition to being biased. Why was the battlefield controversy removed? That was a defining moment in Gupta's career, not MM.

A fair depiction of Gupta's bio would only have one sentence on the Moore controversy, if at all. While this may be a hot topic over the past few weeks, the controversy surrounding one interview for someone who is a part-time journalist does not merit this much detail.

[edit] Gupta blanking

Please stop. If you continue to blank out (or delete portions of) page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Sanjay Gupta, you will be blocked from editing. Ripe 19:41, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you delete or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia, as you did to Sanjay Gupta, you will be blocked from editing. Ripe 23:49, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] response to your Sanjay Gupta question

You have repeatedly blanked the Michael Moore controversy section in the Sanjay Gupta article. In one change comment, you asked what the review procedure is. Wikipedia works by building consensus. Many editors contributed to the Michael Moore section in Sanjay Gupta article, so there is consensus that it is sufficiently notable. If you think the percent of words spent on the controversy in relation to other parts of the man's life has undue weight, I suggest adding material to other sections rather than trying to remove material. 209.150, do you understand the issue here? Please join the discussion at Talk:Sanjay_Gupta#Michael_Moore_Criticizes_Gupta and work with other editors to come to a consensus about how much criticism should be present in the article. Thanks.--Chaser - T 02:22, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] copyright violation on Sanjay Gupta

You pasted large segments of text from CNN's bio of Gupta. You can't do that. It's a copyright violation. I suggest holding back on the editing for a while and read the Wikipedia policies and style guides. thanks. Ripe 02:30, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
