This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "I am not sure how this IP got blocked. I feel it may have been a mistake. We are a small company with a privately managed IP. Thanks!"

Decline reason: "See below. – Luna Santin (talk) 22:40, 23 February 2007 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

You yourself more than likely haven't done anything wrong -- the block was put in place on an entire range of IP addresses, for a time, due to the highly disruptive actions of a select few users who were causing serious problems. I'm sorry for the trouble this has caused you.

I do, however, have some good news: the block is what we generally call "anon-only," which means that logged in users with existing accounts will still be able to edit. Registering an account will be a little more difficult for you than usual, because of this block, but is still far from impossible -- you just need to find another web connection, be it a school, your local library, or even a friend's house. Once you're there, just head to en.wikipedia.org, click the "sign in/create account" link in the top right corner, enter a username and password, and you're all set with an account. Once you get back home, you just need to log in, and you should be able to edit right over this block. Fast, free, easy, and most important, lets you in on everything Wikipedia has to offer.

So please do consider registering an account. Don't let the unfortunate actions of a few bad apples hold you back. Feel free to respond by contacting unblock-en-l if you have any further questions or concerns.

Thank you for your time. – Luna Santin (talk) 22:40, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

what does The President have to do with "Don't you think it is a little excessive/ridiculous? You have blocked the anonymous IP of a company of adults to chase your nemisis? Let me guess, you voted for Bush. Please let me know where/how I can take steps to resolve this. This kind of crap is melting away my admiration for wikipedia."
