[edit] Welcome

Hello. I've noticed your edits to Bugatti Veyron and appreciate the contributions you're making to Wikipedia. You seem unfamiliar with the conversion templates, so I've come to point you to this page where you'll find all the automobile-related ones.

I'd also like to recommend you consider creating an account. It's quick, free, and anonymous (you don't have to give away any real-world information about yourself). When you're logged in, you can do many things that unregistered users cannot, such as creating new pages, uploading media content, moving pages and keeping track of changes to articles you edit frequently. It helps the community, too, Wikipedians will be more likely to remember who you are when you have an account name.

If you want more information on the benefits of creating an account, click here. Don't forget to sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~). ↔ Dennywuh (talk) 17:34, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Bugatti Veyron

Hello. A few notes for you:

  1. When you edit a page, please don't forget to provide an edit summary so the rest of Wikipedians know what, and why, you have changed on the page.
  2. When you add content to a talk page, please sign your posts by typing four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically add a signature with your username or IP address and the time of the post, which will be useful for other editors to tell who said what, and when.
  3. You have repeatedly added "(see below)" to the top of the Bugatti Veyron article. Considering that the page is 3200 words (24000 characters) long, and that you add no link to the section of the page you refer to, the comment is useless and confusing. That is the reason it is removed each time you add it.
  4. You have repeatedly changed the Wikipedia conversion templates on the same page for typed conversions. This is contrary to the Manual of Style, which is why it is corrected every time you replace it.
  5. In your comment of today on the Bugatti Veyron talk page you instruct other editors to "stop messing with the site". Correcting edits that do not meet Wikipedia standards is appropriate; adding confusing, incorrect text to Wikipedia is not appropriate. Please stop.
  6. Your good faith has been assumed so far, but if you insist in your disruptive behaviour measures will be taken.

Thank you. ↔ Dennywuh (talk) 15:50, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

Don't change sourced facts, to inaccurate and wrong numbers. Please do not deliberately introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Bugatti Veyron. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you.--BSI (talk) 16:26, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

Please do not attack other editors, which you did here: Talk:Bugatti Veyron. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --BSI (talk) 22:14, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 19:53, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

Hello. This encyclopædia has a code of conduct that editors are expected to adhere to. Despite numerous notices on your talk page and in edit summaries on the Bugatti Veyron talk page you insist on:

  • Not signing your posts,
  • Not providing an edit summary for your contributions,
  • Constantly posting in the wrong place, forcing others to move your comments to the appropriate thread,
  • Repeatedly making the same point but never providing verifiable proof, expecting other editors to believe you despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, and
  • Behaving with a total lack of civility, including personally attacking other editors.

As long as you continue to treat the above-mentioned Code of Conduct with such disregard you are going to encounter great difficulty in convincing good-faith editors of the validity of your opinion. Why don't you take advantage of the goodwill of these festivities and try to make your point in accordance with Wikipedia values, in a civil, researched and verifiable manner? I'm sure you will find editors much more receptive than they are to your usual boorish attitude. If you're not prepared to make this simple effort, I humbly suggest you find another pursuit to occupy your time, as Wikipedia is clearly not for you. ↔ Dennywuh (talk) 12:32, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
