[edit] Regarding messages to the user
Since the user was using a very public computer, the likelyhood of him reading these messages is very remote.
- It appears to be a school computer in Toronto. I disagree that there is little chance of him reading the message as most people tend to have a favorite computer at school that they use nearly all the time.Anyway it sholud be left for a while to see if it works. (plus these messages help admins see how much a problem the IP has been in the past) Theresa Knott (taketh no rest) 18:59, 20 Sep 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism from school
Should we consider notifying the school that we may permanently block their IP range if the vandalism doesn't cease? --Dante Alighieri | Talk 19:52, Jan 28, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] IP Blocking
This is one of the larger high schools in Toronto, and I doubt who ever is misusing wikipedia would care about getting the IP blocked. If the IP is blocked, can accounts still be used from the school's computers?

[edit] school admin
Hi, I'm a teacher responsible for monitoring computer use at a Toronto public school. I don't think blocking IP's can solve the problem. If you feel it is serious enough, please contact the school or school board in question.
