Welcome to Wikipedia. [edit] April 2008
Please stop making test edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Eastside High School (Covington, Georgia). It is considered vandalism, which, under Wikipedia policy, can lead to blocking of editing privileges. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Elonka 19:41, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] May 2008
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as the one you made to Black Mesa (game mod).
Any further vandalism will result in your being blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Geniac (talk) 05:00, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- I disagree, and am more inclined to assume good faith here. I would have no trouble with blocking this account if it was truly vandalizing, but I am not seeing that edit as vandalism.[1] Indeed, I'm not even seeing it as particularly disruptive. Instead, it looks like a reasonable content dispute. The word "vandalism" should be reserved for blatant cases, such as page blanking or profanity. See WP:VANDAL. Now, if this account were doing that to multiple pages, without engaging in discussion, then that might be disruptive. But it still wouldn't be vandalism. --Elonka 14:07, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

- Good points. Upon further thought, this is probably "unintentional misinformation" (fifth down at WP:VAND#NOT), so I aplogize for calling this edit vandalism. Talk:Black Mesa (game mod)#Cancellations is a discussion on the status of the mod. There was a devblog update on May 11, just 4 days ago, so the mod is not cancelled. IP, in future, please provide a source for claims such as a mod being cancelled before changing "is" to "was". Thank you. --Geniac (talk) 14:33, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
