Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. MER-C 12:47, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, please ignore this notice.

I do not understand what is wrong with the external links to more Detroit Pistons statistical information that is very insightful

This is from your What To Link Section:

What should be linked

1. Articles about any organization, person, web site, or other entity should link to the official site if any.

2. An article about a book, a musical score, or some other media should link to a site hosting a copy of the work if none of the "Links normally to be avoided" criteria apply.

3. Sites that contain neutral and accurate material that cannot be integrated into the Wikipedia article due to copyright issues, amount of detail (such as professional athlete statistics, movie or television credits, interview transcripts, or online textbooks) or other reasons.

4. Sites with other meaningful, relevant content that is not suitable for inclusion in an article, such as reviews and interviews.

I do not see how my links to very accurate and insightful Pistons statistics is spam I am not violating any policies.

If anything the need4sheed.com link on the Detroit Pistons entry ie the #1 Pistons Website on the Internet" that is spam.

What's wrong with adding more statistical information about the Pistons-Celtic rivalry that you do not have available? I'm not promoting anything just sharing information

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Larry Brown (basketball). It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, please ignore this warning.

What is so innapropriate about adding links to in-depth statistics you can't find anywhere else? What the difference between what I did and what Basketballreference for instance is doing?

[edit] Additions of http://.paspn.net

This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia. --Hu12 18:16, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
