For this reason, a message intended for one person may be received by another and a block may be shared by many. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases, you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism; if so, please see here.

If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user. Alternatively, you can list the IP at Wikipedia:WikiProject on XFFs.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of vandalism from this address, abuse reports may be sent to your network administrator for further investigation.
IT staff who want to monitor vandalism from this IP address can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format.

I notice you have been adding many external links to Wikipedia articles. Putting a link in an article to promote a website is considered spam. External links should only be used in occasional circumstances, and particular caution should be used in business-related articles. Please be careful about adding external links to articles. But please continue to be bold and improve the encyclopedia! DDerby(talk) 08:21, 22 September 2005 (UTC)

prob this is me, but i use a lot of diff ip adreses (as don't own my own PC) and rsch and rewrites would take much time. i try to do simple edits and also links only if relevant that are quick. people can always check more if they have time! more space to write suggestions for editors would be good - i like wikipedia and wabnt it to function!

i.e. edit summary is too little space

Blocked
You have been blocked for vandalism for 31 hours. To contest this block, add the text {{unblock|your reason here}} on this page, replacing your reason here with an explanation of why you believe this block to be unjustified. You can also email the blocking administrator or any administrator from this list. Please be sure to include your username (if you have one) and IP address in your email.

If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia after the block has expired, you will be blocked for longer and longer periods of time.Anthony.bradbury"talk" 19:57, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] October 2007

Please stop introducing jokes into articles, such as those you created at Colonel (title). Wikipedia is a serious encyclopedia, and contributions of this type are considered vandalism. Continuing to add jokes and other disruptive content into articles may lead to you being blocked from editing. User edited a number of pages bolding or italicizing stilted wording rather than fixing it. Flex (talk/contribs) 16:40, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
