Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.
Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 204.227.243.16). Logging in does not require any personal details, and there are many other benefits for logging in.
When you edit pages:
- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such content or editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can click the edit this page tab above, type {{helpme}} in the edit box, and then click Save Page; an experienced Wikipedian will be around shortly to answer any questions you may have. Also feel free to ask a question on my talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia.STTW (talk) 19:38, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your edit of Al Jazeera
Hi, I recently reverted your edit of Al Jazeera. I did this because Aljazeera.com/Aljazeera Publishing are totally unrelated to Al Jazeera/Al Jazeera English. Aljazeera.com is an English-language website funded by Saudi Arabia. Al Jazeera is a TV network funded by Qatar. Al Jazeera also have an English-language website, but this is http://aljazeera.net/english. I personally have a very high opinion of Al Jazeera, but I have a very low opinion of Aljazeera.com, and I believe that at least part of their activities consist of sailing on the coattails of Al Jazeera's fame and using a platfrom obtained through what I consider cybersquatting for soapboxing. I have not added your edit to Aljazeera.com, because I am not sure Aljazeera.com/Aljazeera Publishing pass objective notability tests beyond the fact that some people mistake them for Al Jazeera. However, feel free to add your contributions to Aljazeera.com if you feel they are relevant. Thank you for your work as a Wikipedia editor. 86.56.48.12 22:00, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman
I do not understand why you keep removing the misconduct section; you need to discuss your reasoning for these changes on the talk page first. -- Cielomobile talk / contribs 17:26, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
Hi 204.227.243.16 and welcome to the world of Wiki. If you believe that the misconduct section of the Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman is inaccurate, irrelevant, or needs expansion just explain your thoughts and provide any references. Please contribute, Wiki is better off with more discussion and contribution. Also, it would be very helpful if you registered. Helpful for yourself in tracking the topics you have an interest or expertise, and helpful for other Wiki members so we can communicate with you. -- Knowsetfree 06:51, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
