Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia! You recently added an external link to Blogspot in an article. It has been removed because the link pointed to a non-encyclopedic source. Please refer to Wikipedia's policy on external links for more information.

[edit] Spam

This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to DUMBO, Brooklyn, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing their websites from appearing on Wikipedia and other sites that use the MediaWiki spam blacklist at all. Mosmof 21:39, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

User has inserted the same spam link to Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Brooklyn Borough Hall, Brooklyn Law School, Downtown Brooklyn, Cadman Plaza, Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn, Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, Red Hook, Brooklyn, Gowanus Canal, Brooklyn Brewery and Brooklyn Bridge. This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Brooklyn, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Wikipedia:Articles for creation/Today. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Thank you. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. [edit] Lowe counsel

The article does look like an advertisement for the company. Also, see WP:COMPANY, which provides the other reason for deleting the article. Notability guidelines must be met for an article to be on Wikipedia, and Lowe counsel failed to meet this, so it was subject to deletion. Nishkid64 (talk) 14:34, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. [edit] April 2008

Your recent edit to Polymorphism (biology) (diff) was reverted by an automated bot. You have been identified as using a shared IP address to edit a page that experiences malicious edits by users that continue to edit via shared IP ranges or open proxies. Since these ranges are too large (collateral damage) to be blocked and user's IP addresses are not visible, edits to this page by logged-out editors of server or shared IP ranges and new users are reverted. The changes can be reviewed and restored by established users. // VoABot II (talk) 18:10, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
