Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and write articles, however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 204.110.99.42). Logging in does not require any personal details. There are many other benefits for logging in to Wikipedia.

Please note these points:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view to edit the article; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do that.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted texts, advertisement messages, and texts that are not related to that article. Both adding such unreasonable information and editing articles maliciously are considered vandalism. A user who repeatedly vandalises articles will be blocked from editing.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, ask me on my Talk page – I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia.

[edit] Mariah Carey

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Mariah Carey, but we regretfully cannot accept original research. Please find and add a reliable citation to your recent edit so we can verify your work. Uncited information may be removed at any time. Thanks for your efforts, and happy editing! Extraordinary Machine 17:21, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

Please do not keep undoing other people's edits without discussing them first. This is considered impolite and unproductive. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. Extraordinary Machine 19:41, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future. howcheng {chat} 17:56, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

Please stop reverting to the same six day old version of the article, as when you do so you overwrite all of the edits made since then. Secondly, as requested above, please discuss and explain your edits at Talk:Mariah Carey or else your behaviour will be considered impolite and unproductive. Once again you are coming close to violating the three revert rule, which all editors are expected to abide by. Thanks. Extraordinary Machine 18:39, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] October 2006

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia; it is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. — getcrunk what?! 20:38, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for experimenting with the page Diplo on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Gzkn 09:00, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
