In response to the comments you have been posting: Wikipedia as an encyclopedia is supposed to be descriptive, not proscriptive. It is not our job to say what terms "should be" or try to standardize the real world; we offer definitions about terms as they are actually used. So both "Indonesian Chinese" and "Chinese American" are correct uses (not to mention American-born Chinese, which is also a correct usage); calling an Indonesian Chinese a "Chinese Indonesian" is confusing, as is calling a Chinese American an "American Chinese". cab 17:23, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
