- Re: your message here
- I fully appreciate with IP ranges provided for educational facilities, and Proxy IP such as (AOL) that warning messages intended for the actual vandal will be read by all, and these warnings will accumulate with an eventual block to all. But Wikipedia has to serve a much wider community, and it is preferable that the actions of one bad apple only affect it's locality. It's unfortunate that innocent users are affected by vandals, but as disturbances increase, we hope that it will make the owners of these networks police them better, as normal users such as yourself complain about these warnings and blocks. There are a number of educational facilities that use wikipedia, who have identified a local contact in the event of any problems. It is also advisable to create a username instead of anonymous editing. Regards

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
