Welcome
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
Here are some other hints and tips:
- I would recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
- When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.
If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my Talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will answer your questions as far as I can. Again, welcome, and I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. --- Hdt83 | Talk/Chat 03:56, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Spam links
Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Sergei Storchak. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Camptown (talk) 11:18, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Bangkok Airways
Please provide a citation before you decide to add this material again as it seems to be untrue. Or if your unsure how to cite material you can discuss your source of information on this talk page or the article's talk page. Thanks Ziphon (talk) 09:54, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] No Personal Attacks
Please do not attack other editors. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Personal attack occured here: [1]. --Jayron32.talk.contribs 13:49, 18 January 2008 (UTC) Strike-through text
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
