[edit] Memoriabilia
Wikipedia does not promote other websites, please find a secondary source covering this collection of items if you wish to include it. I can find any number of people that have been personally collecting memoriabilia for years, that doesn't make them worthy of inclusion in an article. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 00:15, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
- IMDb is not privately owned, nor is it used to source information in the article (or, it shouldn't be used for that). I didn't say I could find someone who has been collecting for 20 years (I'm sure this guy has a lot more than anyone else), I merely said I can find plenty of people that have been collecting for years well (hell, looking through his stuff I have all the film posters and some of the other stuff that he has). He isn't the only person to collect Nightmare memoriabilia. Unless an outside source reports on his collection, then we cannot report on it. What you have a link to is basically equivalent to an Ebay page. The rest of the information you have is either based purely on that collector's opinion (we cannot substantiate his opinion that it is "the largest collection online"; for all we know there could be a larger one somewhere on a website that isn't english) or it's original research on your part. The best I can do is say place a link in the "External links" section, listing it as "Nightmare memoriabilia", and hope no one else thinks it shouldn't be used.
