[edit] Your edit to the Battle of Dominguez Rancho
According to the 1888 published account from Bancroft (see references to article) 4 US marines died in immediate action, and an additional 10 died the next day of their lance wounds...all were buried on Snake Island, now called Terminal Island. This total count brings the American fatalities for this battle to 14 (fourteen) DonDeigo 17:21, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Sierra Leone. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Muéro(talk/c) 05:40, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Dutch Republic
Hi, you added this to the Dutch Republic article: We learn at school that Nederland has been a kingdom from 1648 I think there are some great errors in this story about Holland. I think either your school is wrong, or your memory plays tricks on you. The northern Netherlands were a republic (officially recognized by Spain since 1648), and only became a kingdom in 1815 (if you don't consider the French puppet kingdom of Holland, 1806-1810).
