[edit] March 2006

Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Stephen Barrett. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. On a personal note: your changes do reflect an obvious perception. There were however, some spelling mistakes, the places you added information were not well organized, and it doesn't seem very NPOV. Please discuss these additions on the talk page first, and then we can try to accomodate them within the 'Criticism' section of the article. These views should indeed be reflected, but not added so haphazardly, which is why another user reverted them I believe. Tyciol 18:59, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to Terracotta Army, are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. Koffieyahoo 08:37, 8 March 2006 (UTC)

I'm logged in as user:media lib and of course do not "experiment" with pages here nor am I a vandal. Nevertheless I am blocked under this IP address. So if you cannot solve this problem (blocking several "honorable" users in a big sweep) please refrain from blocking IP addresses. What can I do? --media_lib 11:31, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
See WP:BP which tells you how to contact an administrator if an IP block is affecting you as a logged in user. Kevin 11:39, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] December 2006

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. --1568 08:07, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Birth control. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. -- Shadowlynk 10:33, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

Please stop adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Bruce Lee. It is considered vandalism which, under Wikipedia guidelines, can lead to blocks being applied. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. -- lucasbfr talk 10:44, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalise Wikipedia, as you did to Bruce Lee, you will be blocked from editing. -- lucasbfr talk 10:44, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

Your repeated efforts to vandalize articles as you did to Bruce Lee makes it seem that you are unaware that Wikipedia is a serious project. You have been reported to the administration group for continuing vandalism and an administrator will review your contributions shortly. You may not receive another warning before being blocked, so be careful and be serious from now on. If you are blocked, please reconsider your behavior once the block expires.

If you wish to contribute to this encyclopedia, please
create an account at home and log in with it here.

Due to persistent vandalism, editing by anonymous users from your school or institution's IP address is currently disabled. If you are logged in but still unable to edit, please follow these instructions. To prevent abuse, account creation via this address is probably also disabled.

  • If accounts need to be created at school for class projects, please have your teacher or network administrator contact us (with reference to this IP address) at unblock-en-l from an email address listed on your school's website.
  • Alternatively, if you have no Internet access at home, you may email us using your school-issued email address and an account will be created for you.

Thank you.

Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing.
