[edit] Sanitized version of Geoffrey Giuliano entry
Hi! I've spent quite a bit of time this week adding to the Geoffrey Giuliano entry. The additions were based on public sources that I've documented carefully. Each time I've done this, you've anonymously changed my entry back to a "sanitized" version of Mr. Giuliano's biography that I believe leaves out, and in fact distorts, important facts about Mr. Giuliano.
I've tried to focus on facts that go to Mr. Giulano's truthfulness, character, writing style, and ability to produce quality work, all of which I believe to be essential for placing trust in one of Mr. Giuliano's major life roles, which is "biographer."
If I have inadvertantly omitted facts, distorted the truth, or taken information out of context, I would really like to know that--because correcting the situation will help me to radically improve the quality of the entry.
As I have new material to add, and am anxious to get on with that, I'd like to propose that the best way to proceed is to give you about a week to come up with some ideas about this, and put them up on the Geoffrey Giuliano wikipedia entry. I'll read them carefully and consider the sources, etc.
I notice from other entries you've modified, that when objections are raised to you, you sometimes have replied "You've got the wrong guy." I'm sure that's not the appropriate response that you want to make here--we can work together on this and come up with a quality entry. Judging by the extremely positive nature of the entry that you keep posting, I infer that there is a possibility that you might be very close to Mr. Giuliano. I will keep that in mind as I make every effort to work with you in the near future.
I am not sure that you will see this, as you weren't logged in any of the several times you replaced my entry, but I hope that you do read this. If I don't get a reply, I'll go ahead and follow the standard wiki community procedures that are recommended by the administrators.
Thanks, and have a great day,
yocsmotel

You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for a period of 24 hours as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our neutral point of view policy will not be tolerated. --Brad Beattie (talk) 23:32, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Hi,
I have added a bit to my page and posted it again. If you have any sources to put facts in context, etc. that you've thought of in the past week, this should make it easier for you to have something to build on. Please feel free to do so.
As you can see, I've left most of the original content that was on this entry intact, and I've provided citations for everything that I have added. I do plan to continue editing and adding additional facts. I respectfully request that you do not remove my entire entry, but rather edit, add to, and provide substantive citations for what was already there. Many of the biographical details that are presented, including quotes, etc., that were there before I started working on it lack citations, so that may be an area in which you can contribute.
Mr. Giuliano is indeed a fascinating public figure, and I think that the citation-documented additions that I have made add balance and serve to improve his Wikipedia page. I'm confident that it can be improved even more, and I look forward to seeing your future edits and additions as part of that effort.
Have a great day--
