[edit] Stop vandalising
User 203, stop vandalising the site. You can get severely blocked and banned. You can't go around deleting other people's posts and comments. It is unethical.
We were having a discussion. You can't just delete what I was saying. That makes you look guilty because you are trying to cover something up.
And furthermore, I did not reinstate the comments last night. It was Ghepeu. He was doing the right thing. As you were deleting my comments (which according to Wiki policy you cannot do) he was putting them back on because you were breeching policy and vandalising the site.
Put the comments back the way that they were with all my information back as it was. I am trying to be as civil about this discussion as possible whereas you are blatantly attacking me. I notice that you spent a lot of time deleting everything and covering your tracks while Ghepeu had to reinstate the information that you vandalised twice!
And then you accussed me of doing that. Look in the history, I only noticed all you vandalism this morning.
Stop vandalising. Euganeo 02:00, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Rory096 02:35, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
Please do not remove warnings from your talk page or replace them with offensive content. Blanking your talk page will not remove the warnings from the page history. If you continue to blank your talk page, you will lose your privilege of editing your talk page. Thanks. Betacommand 02:51, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
Thank you to Rory096, Betacommand and to everyone else who has been helping out. I appreciate this. It has been difficult to reason with 203. I have saved all my old comments and am working on reworking them before posting them again without any of 203s comments since he is so adamant that he wants to hide his poor arguments.
As for you 203s... Don't you get it? Edit your own comments. Thats fine. Just don't delete and edit other people's comments. Stop deleting my messages. I will agree to no longer post "Attention" notices about your vandalism once you actually stop vandalising! Stop deleting my comments, please. I have tried to be as reasonable as possible with you every step of the way. Euganeo 04:07, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Talk pages
As I replied to your question at the help desk, comments in talk pages should not be deleted. Even if these comments are silly\unhelpful\old\whatever, they are here to stay. I have absolutely no knowledge about the content dispute over Marco Polo, but I do know that everyone here who has told you not to delete comments from Talk:Marco Polo is absolutely right. -- Meni Rosenfeld (talk) 11:20, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -→Buchanan-Hermit™/!? 03:31, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] More about talk pages, the universe, and everything
Hello again. First, I'd like you to take a deep breath and calm down. The way I see it, both you and Euganeo wish to improve the Marco Polo article and Wikipedia in general. The difference is that Euganeo has been here for a little while and understands how things are done here; You are very new (unless you have edited previously with a different IP), and you do not yet understand our customs.
So you've already learnt that one should not delete comments from talk pages; Another thing is that you cannot hide your IP address; It appears in the edit history of every page you edit. If you do not wish your IP address to become public, you should create a user account (and even then, this will apply only to your following edits). Being angry at people for displaying your IP is not a solution.
And that leads me to the policy of signing posts with ~~~~, which will automatically produce the username (in case of anonymous editors, the IP address) and the time. In case someone is unaware of this and does not sign his post, it is customary for others to attach the {{unsigned}} tag to his post, so that others will see conveniently who posted it (this is not really adding information, since anyone can see who put the comment by looking at the edit history).
So again, I have not seen Euganeo do anything wrong; You're just not experienced enough to see that he did the right things. So my advice is, not to give up contributing to Wikipedia, but to continue editing articles and commenting on talk pages, while avoiding useless fights and always striving to learn how Wikipedia works. Happy editing! -- Meni Rosenfeld (talk) 17:34, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
Hi 203,
Thank goodness you have seen the light. Thank you to Meni Rosenfeld for helping 203 realise that deleting people's messages is against Wiki policy.
For the final time, please don't delete my posts and other's posts any more. Leave the discussion as it is in the Talk:Marco Polo page. Slowly, slowly as other people add to it, the page will be cleaned up and become more structured. Perhaps that major essay you posted from the Internet should be taken off, as other Wiki Admin users have warned you, you cannot post essays in the discussion area, because it is meant to be used for discussion.
Otherwise, it is best to leave the whole page as it is. Of course, if you are able to sign on in future, please repair the posts by signing them with your new Username. Simply linking to the works 203 in Wikipedia is not signing something properly. At least put 4 of these "~" at the end of your post to make sure that your IP is displayed correctly.
As I have said, I've tried to remain civil. So all the best, and please take into consideration all the warnings everyone has given you since June 2005. Euganeo 23:57, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
