Rap is the same as hip-hop music. Don't get it twisted, man. I agree that people confuse hip-hop and rap a lot of the time, but just like saying that Crazy Legs is a b-boy, not a breakdancer, it's an artificial distinction, entirely semantical in nature. Eminem is a rapper who makes hip-hop music. If rap's not hip-hop music, then what is?
