- Your IP address will no longer be visible to other users.
We hope that you choose to become a Wikipedian and create an account. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have on my talk page. By the way, make sure to sign and date your comments with four tildes (~~~~). --Oden 04:50, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Civility
Could I suggest that mundane editorial disagreements are most likely to resolve quickly and productively when editors observe the following:
- Remain polite per WP:Civility.
- Solicit feedback and ask questions.
- Keep the discussion focused. Concentrate on a small set of related matters and resolve them to the satisfaction of all parties.
- Focus on the subject rather than on the personalities of the editors.
Thanks! --Oden 04:50, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Register first
Ciao! It looks you are working hard and good here, so why don't register under a user name? If you remain to the anonymous IP, it could change times by times, and one cannot know where to find you. As for the "footer", it is a compact way to put at the end of the page links to a lot of related articles. The filmography must be instead in the list form because it is the encyclopedical form, more or less the way you should find it in a paper encyclopedia. I don't feel the one I've added is so "atrocious" as you wrote; by the way, it's the form mostly used on the articles here. Remember this is not an Internet Webpage but an encyclopedia, with its specific formats and rules. You can see them starting from WP:Style page. Good work! --Attilios 19:09, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Filmographies
You have been placing navigation boxes in the filmography sections of a number of pages. Kindly cease. As has been stated before, the use of the navigation box is inappropriate in this context. Navigation boxes should allow users to go easily from one article to another and usually appear at the bottom of the page. There are a number of standard formats for filmographies, such as:
- Film title 1 (Year) - other pertinent information
- Film title 2 (Year) - other pertinent information
or the use of a list format. See Wikipedia:Filmographies_and_Discographies#Filmographies for more information.
To make matters worse, you have been reverting to older versions of filmographies, which are incorrect (and incorrectly formatted also.)
Thank you. —Grstain | Talk 14:19, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
