[edit] Welcome
Hello! I've noticed that you have edited Wikipedia without logging in to an account. I'm happy that you've been contributing. However, I urge you to create an account. Here is a list of the benefits of having an account:
- You can create new pages
- After a while, you can become an administrator
- After four days, you can edit semi-protected pages
- You can use watchlists
- You can upload images
- You can keep your account from being unfairly blocked if you share an IP
- You can use scripts to better fight annoying vandalism
There are no cons to signing up for an account. In fact, there are more pros here! Signing up is completely free and you don't need to enter any personal information! Plus you can have a user page like mine! So, unless you can think of a con, sign up for an account right now! -- Levine2112 discuss 19:17, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Rennes-le-Chateau
Please don't talk nonsense. My edit consisted entirely of removing fringecruft. How am I supposed to "cite" removals. Please take care to make meaningful comments. Paul B (talk) 22:25, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
- Those passages were already in an earlier version of the text. They had been deleted by the previous editor who had added lots of material derived from conspiracy theory. I reverted the changes, which included restoring deleted passages and removing the additions. Paul B (talk)
[edit] Regretful/Regrettable
No problem, my grammar is usually poor. GoodDay (talk) 15:53, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Paddy
Hi, in reply to your questions on my talk page, if you to go Paddy and click the History tab at the top, then the button to "Compare selected versions", you can see all the changes made in an edit, in this case: these.
As Paddy is a disambiguation page, it should only list individual people who are known simply by that given name or nickname alone; examples that are allowed on the relevant disambiguation pages are Anne, Princess Royal or Jenifer. See the Manual of Style.
{{Lookfrom}} is a template that generates the line All pages beginning with Paddy. It is acceptable on disambiguation pages, and I thought it would be of some use here, as a way to find Paddy Chayefsky and all the other articles about Paddys. Hope this helps!- Fayenatic (talk) 22:12, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Khansahib
Its not a particular person's name, "Mr. X Khan" is referred later in the article as Khansahib, rather than referring as Khan. Feel free to change it to just Khan. However, in some cases, sentence may have two Khans, one being teacher/Guru/Boss of the other, in that case use full name. HTH. BTW, why not create an account, that will offer more facilities than using ip address. For example you can watch articles: any changes in the page or its talk page will appear on your watchlist. This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
