All of the images from National and Provincial Symbols of South Africa are still in copyright, since the book was published in 1993. I'm going to have to mark them all for deletion. I'll provide warnings for individual images here but please stop uploading more of those. --Bazzargh (talk) 01:02, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
Oh heck. This is a mess. I was mistaken about the source, but that particular one came from 'an auction catalogue', with no date given. Everything is individually sourced and some of it looks ok. I'll just leave it as a question with SalJyDieBoereKomLei. --Bazzargh (talk) 01:33, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Image:Mya in 2003 at Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.jpg. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. KnowledgeOfSelf | talk 00:14, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did to Image:Mali Equestrian.jpg, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Bridgeman vs Corel only applies to reproductions of two-dimensional public domain works. It does not apply to photographs of three-dimensional works. For those works, the photographer does hold the copyright, as there is creative and original decision-making in choosing the angle and lighting.

This also apples to Image:Shell logo.svg ({{PD-old}} is not an appropriate tag for the logotype, and non-free images should not be moved to Commons), Image:Texaco logo.svg (no, Texaco has not published their logotype under the GNU Free Documentation License), Image:Madeira coa.png (don't remove source information), Image:Nb-coat.jpg (fair use image fraudulently changed to PD-self), Image:Dadelogo.gif, Image:Sfseal.gif, Image:Isle of Man - Coat of Arms.svg (non-free images should not be transferred to Commons), Image:Sila o Tonga - Coat of arms of the Kingdom of Tonga.svg, Image:StMartinCoat.png, Image:Coat of arms of Sabah.jpg, Image:21april1967.png, Image:Plaza Amador.jpg, Image:Great Seal of Maryland obverse.png, Image:ReunionFlag.gif, and Image:ReunionLogo2.PNG.

Please note that it is a criminal offense to make fraudulent statements regarding the authorship and licensing of copyrighted works. LX (talk, contribs) 20:41, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Coat of Arms of Canada

Please refrain from changing Image:Coat of arms of Canada.svg to Image:Armoiries du canada.svg. Image:Armoiries du canada.svg does not correctly state that the coat of arms is copyrighted, and is a copyright violation and will be deleted from commons.wikimedia.org. Image:Coat of arms of Canada.svg correct states the copyright tags, and is the appropriate picture to use. Regards, -- Jeff3000 (talk) 15:29, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Please stop

Also note that making fraudulent statements regarding the copyright status, authorship or licensing of a copyrighted work is a criminal offence. LX (talk, contribs) 10:22, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Copyright fraud is a criminal offense

Once again, I find it necessary to remind you that making fraudulent statements about the licensing of copyrighted works, as you did here is a criminal offense. LX (talk, contribs) 12:36, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

Again, you falsified the licensing information here. LX (talk, contribs) 12:44, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism is not appreciated

Please stop blanking information from image description pages. LX (talk, contribs) 12:39, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
