From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Please stop inserting references to Panama about relating to whether or not it is a "world power." As discussed on the talk page, this is an inherently POV description, and not based on any verifiable facts or metrics. Also, do not remove the unreferenced tag on the page until all sources are cited. Notmyrealname 16:10, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- The fact that, as you mention, there is no way to cite this, is precisely the problem. Wikipedia is not the place for original research. We can only include material that has been published elsewhere in a reliable source. Unless you find and cite a reliable source that discusses Panama in this context, it cannot be included here and will be removed. Notmyrealname 21:29, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Removing tags
I have reverted your edit. Please don't remove the reference tag in the Panama article, tags are inserted for a reason. LaNicoya •TALK• 21:37, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- References (Citing sources) and External links are two completely different things. I suggest you read up a bit on WP:Cite_sources#How_to_cite_sources to get you acquainted with the style. LaNicoya •TALK• 22:15, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
