If you're moving content from one article to another, it would help if you mentioned it in the edit summary, and maybe in the discussion page for the article. I'm not an expert on groups or group theory, so I can't tell whether the edits you made are legitimate. Basically, though, Wikipedia is prone to anonymous users who remove text from articles without any reason or explanation, and they're truly vandalizing the articles.
