The Fourth Asian Beach Games are to be held in Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan, Philippines.

In the 25th Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) General Assembly in Doha on December 2, 2006, the Council selected Boracay as host of the 2014 Asian Beach Games.[1] The games will fall on the same year of the 17th Asian Games.[2] The event might fall on May 2014, summer season in the Philippines, and 60 years after the 1954 Asian Games. The 15th President of the Philippines (to be inaugurated on June 30, 2010) is expected to open the event.
