2011 Rugby World Cup - Americas qualification

Two teams will qualify directly to the world cup and the third place team will enter a playoff against the third place European team. The qualification process started with a Caribbean tournament in the Cayman Islands. The winner of this tournament will go on to face the winner of the Consur B tournament featuring Brazil, Paraguay, Colombia, Venezuela and Peru[1].

The main qualifying tournament for the Caribbean region will be held in Cayman Islands. This will follow a one off playoff between Mexico and St Vincent to determine the final place in the last eight. The winner of the tournament in Cayman will progress to the next round.
