This article needs some work. First of all, does anyone mind if I rename it Attempted Millennium terrorist attacks? Quadell (talk) 15:28, Aug 6, 2004 (UTC)

Actually, after looking through the list of terrorist incidents, it seems to me that the standard would be something like 2000 millennium attacks plot (or maybe 2000 millennium attack plots would be more accurate, since they may have all been unrelated). I'll move it. Quadell (talk) 02:38, Aug 8, 2004 (UTC)

So why was the name changed? I think this was a bad move. None of the other attacks by al-Qaida are named with "al-Qaida" at the front. (It isn't Al-Qaida September 11, 2001 attacks after all.) And why is "millennium" capitalized? Quadell (talk) 16:45, Sep 3, 2004 (UTC)

Since there was no response, I'm moving the article back. Quadell (talk) 15:15, Sep 9, 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Strange title

Strange title for the article. Does this imply that 2000 attacks were planned for the millenium year? (rather than what appears to be "two millenium attack plots"). If the article is about attack plots as well as actual attacks, should it list attacks that were planned but not carried out? I think some renaming is required. --mgaved 10:06, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

I don't know if anyone knows this, but an episode of 'Cal's High Weirdness' has footage taken by the secret service of time square, largely reputed to be a plan in response to a terrorist act on new years eve for 2000. 74.211.49.13 06:50, 2 September 2007 (UTC)Tylek

[edit] Not even a single reference or external link

There isn't even anything to suggest that this isn't a hoax made up by a Wikipedian in the article. I've never heard of this. Now I'm not saying that it is a hoax, but I've never heard of it and there are no sources or further reading. We can do better than this.--h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 13:33, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
