Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas delivers remarks Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007, during the Annapolis Conference on the grounds of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. Attended by nearly 50 countries and organizations, the U.S.-led Middle East peace conference resulted in an agreement by President Abbas and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert of Israel to resume the long-stalled peace talks.
