The UEFA U-19 Championship 2008 Final Tournament will be held in Czech Republic with matches played from July 14 - 26, 2008. Players born after January 1, 1989 are eligible to participate in this competition.

Qualification for the final tournament was played over two stages:
- 2008 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship qualification - 24 September 2007 - 15 November 2007
- 2008 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship elite qualification - March 1, 2008 - 31 May 2008

The groups were drawn on June 1, 2008 in Prague by the 1st vice-chairman of the UEFA Youth and Amateur Football Committee Jim Boyce and senior Czech internationals Petr Čech and Martin Fenin [1]
