The 2006 Texas Tech Red Raiders football team represented Texas Tech University in the college football season of 2006–2007. The team is coached by Mike Leach. The Red Raiders play their home games at Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock, Texas.
The football team competes in the Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), formerly I-A.
