The 2003 United States Golf Championship was the 103rd U.S. Open, held between June 12 and June 15, 2003. It took place at the prestigous Olympia Fields Country Club located at Olympia Fields in Illinois in the United States. The tournament was won by Jim Furyk, for whom it was his first major championship win. In doing so he tied for the record lowest 72-hole score in U.S. Open history.
